Why I Have Faith That EA Won’t Completely “EA” Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order

EA | Respawn Entertainment

If you haven’t noticed, EA and Respawn Entertainment’s upcoming Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order is one of the most anticipated Star Wars games we’ve seen in quite a while. At the same time, EA’s recent questionable history with games like Star Wars: Battlefront 2 and Anthem has left fans with little hope in anything that the publisher has a hand in.

I agree that EA has done enough to let us down in the recent past, but I still have hope that Fallen Order will be different. Here’s why.

EA | Respawn Entertainment

Almost everything we’ve seen on Fallen Order so far has revolved around cinematic presentation. EA and Respawn have made it abundantly clear that this game will be a heavily story-driven experience. From my perspective, that doesn’t really leave them room for a pay-wall of any kind.

Also, EA knows they’ve been doing the community wrong. Their actions tend to appear motivated by greed. However, surely this time they’ll just give us a full game, even if it means some cosmetic items need to be purchased. If they mess up again, they’re likely to have the door shut on them completely. I know mine will be shut.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order releases on November 15, 2019.

What do you think? Do you think EA will botch this one? Let me know in the comments.
